Job Description
We’re seeking a Producer for social media to join MSNBC Digital.
You have experience managing producers and demonstrable experience identifying and producing shareable/viral news and perspective content. You can pitch unique story ideas and create short original videos catered to each social platform’s audience. You have a passion for news, politics, current events and know what stories spark engagement for each social platform’s audience. A social media expert with strong knowledge **** of all platforms, their audiences and social media trends.
If you have a love for the MSNBC brand, demonstrate strong editorial judgment and can be flexible working when news breaks, this job is for you.
This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.
Responsibilities:
PLEASE NOTE: the shift for this role is is Tuesday – Saturday, 2pm to 10pm (Hybrid 3 days in office)
