    DIVISION PROFILE

    NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year.  This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

    OVERVIEW

    The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing and administering a number of TV deals in all media (i.e. EST (Electronic Sell-Through), PPV (Pay Per View) VOD (Video On Demand) SOD (Subscription On Demand), Pay TV, Basic Cable and Free TV) for a number of designated territories and providing sales administration support to the international Sales Team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Administer and effectively manage TV output, volume, & package deals for a number of designated territories.
    • Manage territory schedules by monitoring new product that becomes available and the rights associated with such product, ensuring each is windowed through all eligible TV deals in order to maximize revenue.
    • Provide availability lists to sales or directly to TV clients, per contractual obligations within our long-term TV license agreements and per ad hoc requests from Sales.
    • Input and track EST, VOD, SOD, PPV, Pay, Basic Cable and Free TV licenses using SAFE database (or new systems as they become available), price product, process deals internally, and obtain deal approvals.
    • Track production budgets/negative costs/box office figures/admission figures/number of prints/air dates etc of theatrical or television product per contractual requirements.
    • Establish direct relationships with TV clients & assist them with queries/needs that arise.
    • Send legally binding notices (product inclusion & product selections letters) to clients per contractual obligations.  Ensure all contractual obligations and deadlines are met.
    • Create, tailor, and track product offer lists and TV availability grids for theatrical & non-theatrical feature product.
    • Liaise with home video and international theatrical divisions regarding dating & local acquisitions.
    • Work closely with Servicing to ensure timely delivery of product and ensure coordination between Sales, Finance, and Legal on permissible shipping dates for new sales.
    • Create annual sales projections for long-term deals based on the eligibility criteria of each deal and the schedule of each territory, to support financial projections.
    • Liaise internally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
    • Assist on ad hoc projects and perform other related duties as requested by Management and provide support to Sales Administration colleagues.

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Demonstrated computer literacy (excellent excel skills - use of Macros etc).
