    Job Description

    The Procurement Analyst will report to the Manager of IT Procurement and will support domestic and international procurement and vendor management for end-user IT software, hardware, mobile devices, and professional services in the US, LATAM, EMEA and APJ. This position will be key to delivery of global procurement services such as raising Purchase Order requests, generating quotes and statements of work, processing invoices, etc.

    This role will ensure that global IT Procurement standards are implemented and will coordinate suppliers and internal resources to ensure successful delivery of IT Procurement services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ability to support domestic and international IT procurement and vendor management for end-user technology and mobile services, end-user enterprise software and IT professional services
    • Ability to enforce adoption efforts of global IT procurement governance policies and best practices to ensure alignment with NBCU strategic initiatives
    • Experience in and a solid understanding of end-to-end procurement process management
    • Proven experience in vendor management across multiple areas of support, including but not limited to vendor performance monitoring, supplier development planning, and ongoing relationship management in partnership with relevant stakeholders (specific experience in Enterprise Technology and Mobility preferred)
    • Experience reviewing/negotiating vendor contracts in collaboration with Legal and Sourcing
    • Ability to review and draft IT statements of work (SOW) aligned to business needs and requirements
    • Knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Procure to Pay systems
    • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and relevant dependencies with procurement operations
    • Ability to work on multiple initiatives at once across different partners to help plan and drive key initiatives globally
    • Review of statements, credit notes, invoices and processing of purchase orders raised
    • Working with Global Service Desk, Local Deskside Teams and, where necessary, mailing rooms to ensure all customer requests are fulfilled to an above average customer satisfaction level
    • Collaborate with Software Governance team to ensure software requests (Smartsheet, Microsoft, Autodesk, etc.) from the business are reviewed and actioned
    • Participate in user training, documentation or other activites required to offer service improvements
    • Administrating and managing the shared IT Procurement mailbox
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • 3+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Skilled practitioner in strategies for creating a competitive environment, including experience leading request for proposal (RFP) processes, and conducting commercial & contract negotiations
    • Strong business acuity, including understanding and practical application of relevant market/industry trends
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with teams across the organization

    • Team-oriented and collaborative approach with a demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn new methods, tools, practices and skills
