Exciting opportunity to work at the Entertainment Group, consisting of NBC Network, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, USA, Syfy, Universal Kids & Syndication Studios. This role falls within the FP&A finance team supporting the Entertainment Group (a business unit within the Television & Streaming division). The Financial Analyst will report into the Manager of FP&A, and partner with TV & Streaming HQ, as well as with peers across other TV & Streaming businesses. This role offers the unique opportunity to learn all areas of the business: Ad Sales, Programming, Digital and Marketing.

**Responsibilities : **

• Assist Manager with financial planning, estimating and reporting processes including: updating estimates, consolidating the P&L, managing corporate files and templates, and coordinating financial variance commentary.
• Assisting with close process, including P&L maintenance/mapping and reviewing the general ledger.
• Oversee SAP reporting system (Business Planning & Consolidation), ensuring it’s setup for each pacing & estimate cycle. Have ownership over loading estimates and financial variance commentary into the system.
• Responsible for tracking 3rd Party Ancillary Revenue, Network Merchandising Revenue, and some cost categories, ensuring revenue and costs are updated by collaborating with Business Affairs and Controllership teams.
• Support team with invoice processing tasks, managing the AP approval matrix, and providing business partners with assistance.
• Contribute to presentations to NBCU Finance leadership & perform ad hoc analyses, providing insight into KPIs and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
• Proficient with MS Office – particularly Excel & PowerPoint
• General ledger experience, a plus
• Experience in SAP/BPC/Analysis for Excel, a plus
