    POSITION OVERVIEW: The Marketing Strategy, Planning, and Analysis (MSP&A) team aims to improve the efficacy and efficiency of activities across the Marketing org through detailed analysis, strategy development, and structured planning approaches. As the Manager, MSP&A – Organic Social, you will be responsible for driving analysis and developing strategies that grow followers and engagement across Peacock’s social media ecosystem.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Forward Planning for Organic Social: Support the Peacock social team by identifying opportunities to drive follower  growth and engagement across social media platforms. Map out path to achieving growth and engagement goals, including target audiences and platform-specific strategies.

    Define Core KPIs & Benchmarks: Partner with the Peacock social media team to identify and prioritize key measures of success for social performance. Develop benchmarks and contextualize data aimed at enhancing the understanding and actionability of social data.

    Identifying Opportunities for Improvements in Social Insights Infrastructure: Determine opportunity to collect and surface new sources of data aimed at improving the efficacy of Peacock’s social marketing efforts. Includes identifying new pieces of data to collect, sources for data points, and infrastructure required to surface and contextualize data for end users.

    Support Research into Use Cases for Social Data to Inform Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams such as Content Strategy, Product, and others to identify and assess opportunities to use social media insights to inform business activities such as business forecasting, estimating content performance, etc.

    Conduct Deep-Dive Social Analyses: Answer key questions to guide social strategy through detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses, in partnership with the Peacock data science team.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably at a top agency or consultancy
    • BS/BBM in mathematics, statistics, management, business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field
    • Strong understanding of social platforms algorithms and native measurement solutions
    • Strong excel and data viz (e.g. PowerPoint) skills, programming skills a plus
    • Knowledge of the Peacock streaming offering, as well as NBCU brands, and their interface with the media industry
    • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority
    • Good judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
    • Positive attitude and high level of professionalism
    • Impeccable written and spoken communication skills, articulate and thoughtful
    • Team-oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn

    Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 (Bonus + LTI Eligible)
