  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    You will be responsible for the day-to-day work of processing, maintaining, and making available the archived assets of all NBCUniversal businesses. These assets include but are not limited to props, wardrobe, photography, artwork, publicity/marketing and production records.

    You will also be responsible for processing photography collections, props, wardrobe, production materials, and artwork.

    What You'll Do

    • Process and catalog props, costumes, and artwork from all NBCUniversal businesses.
    • Complete processing of current acquisitions and backlog collections.
    • Assist with data clean-up projects.
    • Work with Manager, Archive Collections & Outreach with backlog collections for processing and re-appraisal projects.
    • Assist team with workflow to make assets available for exhibits and loans. Includes loan preparation and condition reports.
    • Responsible for assessing archival supply inventory and facilitate archival and non-archival orders.
    • Assist team with the installation of Archives & Collections assets as needed, locally.

    What You Have ...

    • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in history, archival administration, library science, museum studies, or equivalent.
    • Minimum 2 years of archival experience.
    • Manual dexterity to handle fragile collections, and ability to lift 40-pound boxes required.

    What Will Make You Stand Out ...

    • Master’s Degree in a related field.
    • Knowledge of the entertainment industry.

    • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    Salary range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly
