Summer 2024 Internship Program:

• Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from (insert office location) 3-5 days per week.

The Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) consists of the operations to produce, acquire, market and distribute filmed entertainment worldwide in various media formats for theatrical, home entertainment, television and other distribution platforms. Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

• Focus Features Production: Intern will research (filming location, tax rebates, crew availability), review production/post-production schedules, production reports, call sheet, wrap reports, and provide general administrative support
• Focus Features Production Development: script coverage, maintain filmmaker and project databases, review production schedules and call sheets, and general administrative support

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

Desired Characteristics:

• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, strategic thinker, creative, researcher, energetic, resourceful, self-starter, great time-management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and proofreading skills
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
