    Job Description

    The Analyst, Content Acquisition role will support the acquisitions team as it licenses content for NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock, **** NBCU Entertainment Cable Networks, and NBC Broadcast. **** This candidate will be responsible for deal entry and tracking, inventory management, communicating to internal stakeholders, and evaluating potential series & film acquisitions. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to pivot at a moment's notice.

    • Assist team members on deal preparation, including updating offer template and financial document for initial film deal selections.
    • When new content is acquired, enter pertinent details and metadata into all systems utilized across the teams.
    • Act as a point of contact for questions regarding the acquired inventory and prepare ad hoc reports and presentations.
    • Update/maintain/provide various reports that are required by department management and for weekly meetings.
    • Evaluate performance of inventory to aid in analysis of future acquisitions and renewals.
    • Work with IT / Business Intelligence on the development of content planning tools and reporting capabilities.
    • Assist team members on special projects including researching & capturing relevant industry intel and the competitive landscape.
    • Track upcoming theatricals/series to target for acquisition over the next several years.
    • Track all content pitched to the team (i.e., screeners, scripts) and input content into team’s internal content feedback tool.
    • Identify potential acquisitions via synopses, scripts, trailers, trade articles, screeners, and finished product.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in the field of Entertainment Media
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills
    • Experience working in the industry with a foundation on how streaming and TV business works
    • Self-starter who can prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and drive them to completion both individually and as a team
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States

    _ Hybrid_ : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary range: $62,000-$75,000
