Summer 2024 Internship Program:

• Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Playa Vista, CA 3-5 days per week.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

• Peacock, Strategic Analytics : The charter of the Peacock Strategic Analytics team is to uncover insights that drive decision-making for cross-functional initiatives and strategic priorities for the business. As an intern on the Peacock Strategic Analytics team, you will play a key role in supporting high-profile projects that make a tangible impact. You will have the opportunity to utilize large-scale data sets to creatively solve real-life business problems and help drive strategy across the Peacock organization.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• Must be willing to work in Playa Vista, CA.

Desired Characteristics:

• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Experience with SQL or similar programming languages (R, Python, etc.)
• Experience with BI visualization tools, a plus (Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc.)
• In pursuit of a degree in a quantitative field of study, including but not limited to: Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science.

The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $30.00

The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $35.00
