    The Peacock Digital Network Operations Center (DNOC) is looking for an Associate Product Manager to help build, maintain, and improve internal tools that are core to the operations team success!

    What is the DNOC?

    The Peacock Digital Network Operations Center (DNOC) produces live event streams, monitors the VOD library and is responsible for monitoring the overall health of the platform. This role will work closely with the Technical Product Owner to size and scope problems and develop solutions for the DNOC.

    Essential Functions (Responsibilities)

    • Solve problems for the operations teams by building and maintaining tools to fit their needs.
    • Partner with stakeholders to shape the development of tools. Being empathetic and solutions oriented is a must
    • Own Quality Assurance Processes for tools – How to reproduce and report bugs
    • Provide high level communications skills – know how to talk to both the stakeholder to gain more information and the engineers trying to resolve the issue.
    • Experience with user-centered design. The applicant should understand how to decrease friction in workflows and be an advocate for the team using the tools.
    • Utilize data to tell a story that supports use cases and desired development items.
    • Craft executive friendly dashboards and reporting format that will be distributed on a regular cadence
    • Manage and audit user accounts to ensure compliance with User Access Control requirements
    • Track all Maintenance windows for all production tooling and ensure they will not impact on-air production
    • Strong understanding of modern streaming workflow and VOD delivery pipelines.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3+ years experience in Digital Video Operations or Digital Video Technology
    • Minimum of 2+ years experience with QOE and QOS monitoring for OTT platforms
    • Experience in software development lifecycle
    • Experience and comfortable working in a Network Operations Center or digital distribution facility
    • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
    • Knowledge of video streaming infrastructure, CDNs, and QA procedures
    • Familiarity with database management systems
    • Understanding of APIs and other connection points between applications.
    • Willingness and ability to work or be on call at any time, sometimes on short notice in order to support a 24/7/365 operation

    Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000; this position is not bonus eligible.
