Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

Under general supervision of the Payroll Tax Manager and Labor Relations, the Union Clerk is responsible for all clerical duties/functions within the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up and distribute mail
•  Deposit checks related to overpayments and tax refunds
• Update W-4s and process W-2 reprints
• Assist with HRC ticket resolution
• Review the Master Data Pass-Thru (MDPT) report
• Work as a backup to other union positions within the department
• Review the Tax Locator report
• Prepare boxes for off-site storage
• Update ODM with Payroll/Deduction documents
• Document and scan tax notices to ADP for resolution
• Separate and scan garnishments to ADP Smart Compliance for processing
• Document Talent address changes and send them to Residuals for input

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be willing to join Local 174
