    Job Description

    Academic Year Internship Program:

    • Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

    Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

    • SportsEngine Sales – this internship will provide you with valuable insights into the world of sales and the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in prospecting, lead generation, product demonstrations, and customer engagement. As a sales intern, you will work closely with our experienced sales team to support various sales initiatives and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in prospecting and lead generation activities by researching potential customers and gathering relevant contact information.
    • Participate in sales meetings and presentations, observing and learning from the sales team.
    • Support the sales team in preparing and delivering product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of our youth sports technology solutions.
    • Contribute to the development of sales materials, including presentations, proposals, and sales collateral.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
    • Assist in managing and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to support integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
    • Shadow experienced sales team members to learn best practices and gain insights into effective sales techniques and strategies.
    • Assist in administrative tasks related to sales, such as data entry, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
    • Must be willing to work in Minneapolis, MN.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

    The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.00.

    The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $18.00.
