    Job Description

    PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

    The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the production of live shows. Duties include:

    • Working alongside producers during all Boston Celtics gamenights and gamedays (preseason, regular season and postseason). Heavy evening, weekend, and holiday schedule
    • Working with Celtics producers on pregame/halftime/postgame shows (in addition to working with other daily show producers), coming up with ideas for content, researching statistics for graphics, building on-screen banners and fullscreens
    • Assisting with the production of any specialty programming
    • Assisting the on-air talent leading up to and during pregame, halftime and postgame shows (providing printed box scores, researching statistical trends when requested)
    • Monitoring video feeds that are coming into the facility, making sure live sporting events and pregame or postgame interviews are logged
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of six (6) months TV experience with linear show or other relevant experience (including internships)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet
    • Knowledge of NBA (current and historical)

    Desired Characteristics

    • Knowledge of Boston Celtics (current and historical) highly preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of NBA statistics and advanced analytics
    • Minimum of 1 to 2 years TV Production experience (including internships) preferred
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Detail oriented
