    NBCU Local DFW is seeking a highly motivated Brand Multiplatform Producer with video, digital, social and presentation experience to join the Brand Marketing team. Reporting to the VP, Brand and Strategic Marketing, the Brand Multiplatform Producer will be highly motivated and have digital marketing experience to build strategies to elevate both the NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 brands across the social platforms. This is an opportunity to join a brand team of passionate creatives who create content for multiple platforms in two languages. Responsibilities include:

    • Conceptualize and produce brand campaigns in English and Spanish to help promote our brands and drive audience engagement to our Telemundo39 and NBC 5 news brands across social platforms.
    • Work closely with the news multiplatform team to help grow the main brand social media account pages through thoughtful, engaging posts with relevant content that deliver on key metrics.
    • Write and edit promotable spots while working closely with the Brand Marketing team, news managers and producers.
    • Produce original digital content for both NBC5 and T39 that lives on multiple platforms.
    • Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines.
    • Attend weekly planning/production meetings and adhere to other duties as assigned.
    • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all production team members.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Qualifications:**

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a social media producer position
    • Local television experience is a plus
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications and/or equivalent work experience
    • Must be willing to work in the DFW area
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be 18 years or greater
    • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
    • Must have valid driver’s license

    Desired Characteristics:

    • * Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills 
      
      • Clear understanding and vision for producing exceptional creative campaigns that bring results.
      • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
      • Experience in editing video for multiple platforms.
      • Experience with WordPress VIP, SocialFlow and push alert publishing tools a plus
      • Strong promotion copywriting skills
      • Able to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
      • Collaborates well with others in a team environment
