    Job Description

    _ Role Purpose_

    The VP, Fair Employment Practices & Policies will be responsible for the strategic management and global execution of fair and respectful workplace programs and initiatives. This VP will lead a team of experienced investigators, and will provide advice and counsel to key stakeholders across the Company.

    _ Job Duties_

    • Manage NBCUniversal’s fair employment programs, policies, and initiatives - including developing employee policies to support a respectful workplace
    • Supervise a global team of employees responsible for handling investigations of workplace concerns, including providing trainings and developing policies on effective investigation techniques
    • Occasionally conduct investigations into workplace concerns
    • Partner with client-facing Employment Law attorneys to assist in conducting, coordinating, and handling internal investigations of employment-related and other types of complaints
    • Develop and execute best-in-class systems and processes to address fair employment concerns, including those raised through the Company’s helpline
    • Manage and monitor adoption, use and enhancements to the case management system across the Company
    • Partner with the Labor & Employment Law’s Strategy and Analytics team to develop insightful reporting metrics, as well as create and deliver reports to senior leadership, which will be used to identify key trends and create proactive strategy for fostering a respectful working environment
    • Partner with senior HR leaders, Talent Management, Compliance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and other subject matter experts at NBCUniversal and Comcast on trainings and employment-related initiatives
    • Support SVP, Equitable Workplace Practices, Positive Employee Relations, and Employment Law on special projects as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Basic Requirements_

    • Law degree
    • Member in good standing of the State Bar of New York, or member in good standing of another State Bar and registered as in-house counsel
    • Minimum of 15 years of employment law and/or compliance experience, including experience with developing and implementing training programs, as well as conducting investigations, in a corporate environment
