    Job Description

    The Operational Excellence Summer Intern will be working closely with Park Operations, Operational Planning and Creative to assist with the final build and roll-out of a much-needed site on our internal database system (SharePoint). Like a wiki page, this site will be accessible to all management (for reference) in efforts to support and encourage Park presentation, Operational Readiness and the overall Guest and Team Member experience.

    In addition, contributing and supporting Operational Excellence parkwide summer initiatives.

    Operational Excellence The X1 Team

    a group of high performing individuals selected to lead and drive Operational Excellence and Park initiatives property-wide; with an emphasis on delivering the highest quality experience to every Guest and Team Member. The X1 Team leads the charge, ensuring seamless communication amongst all levels of management and are held accountable for Park presentation, operational readiness, and Guest service.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Finalize overall structure of parkwide standards site
    • Roll-out program to departments across the company and build tool to collect feedback
    • Partner with operating groups across the park to gather information on successes and challenges of the Park Standards site in order to implement phased expansion
    • Work with Placemaking and operating teams on expansion of the site for overall design elements and scenic pieces
    • Support Operational Excellence on summer initiatives, including OpEx team prep for HHN and Interactions program events

    Pay Range: $18-$25/hour

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution
    • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong ability to set priorities, multi-task, solve problems, maintain composure and tact and deliver on multiple projects under pressure
    • High proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
    • Experience with SharePoint and/or website design
    • Strong organizational and communications skills
    • Able to work early mornings, nights and weekends as needed
