    Internship opportunities available will either be hybrid, in-person (requiring an intern to work from Telemundo Center, Miami, FL 3 days per week) based on the location mentioned, or virtual, depending on business needs .

    Qualifications

    Production Management works with our creative teams providing support to all the ongoing production teams, ensuring smooth operations, and compliance, on time and within budget. Our operation includes 4 Daily Live Shows, Specials like Billboards and Miss Universe, Reality Shows for Telemundo, and Unscripted Productions for T-Plus for Peacock.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the VP, of Production Management in the work with Production Creative teams to learn how to create and execute production schedules, and production milestones for assigned productions.
    • Learn how to review and analyze production budgets and schedules coming from third-party production companies.
    • Assist in the creation of production budgets, schedules, and milestones from the bottom up for in-house productions.
    • Assist the work with Compliance Production Manager to ensure productions adhere to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures.
    • Create trackers to make sure productions obtain appropriate legal documentation (e.g. Certificates of Engagement, location agreements, etc.), and report to the direct supervisor.
    • Learn how to manage ongoing workflow and communication cadence with the Network team as it pertains to Production deliverables and report to the direct supervisor.
    • Assist the VP with follow-ups on day-to-day production operations, and follow up with open items with Production Managers on current projects.
    • Work with management to provide additional areas of support.

    Desired Competencies:

    • Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
    • Hands-on production experience within a digital and commercial/film/television environment is desirable.
    • English, Spanish (Read/Write/Speak) preferred.
    • Students with a class standing of junior or above are preferred.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Strong interest in the media industry.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
    • Must be working from within the United States during all hours worked.
    • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Internet search engines.

    The internship hourly rate for undergrad students is $17.00 and $25.00 for MBA or master's degree
