    Peacock is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, QE to lead a team ensuring high quality of video playback experience across wide range of devices. You will become a part of an engineering team building video players and video playback capabilities, streaming content to millions of customers.

    You will grow the team, mentor individuals, embrace diversity and help building inclusive and flexible workplace.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead a team of Quality engineers, define strategy and processes supporting delivery of video streaming capabilities and video players in agile and fast pace environment
    • Work closely and collaboratively with other managers of the development teams
    • Define test strategy, tools, test development and test execution
    • Hire and mentor a team of Quality engineers
    • Continuously learn, improve and optimize processes and ways of working
    • Provide constructive feedback to help your direct reports grow in their professional careers
    • Providing estimates for resource utilization through a project
    • Automate QE process where possible to increase efficiency
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering and quality assurance
    • Industry experience with a successful track record in video players with testing web, mobile, connected devices, and Smart TV applications
    • Experience with QA automation
    • Testing experience with streaming technology, AV codecs, DRMs is a plus
    • Extensive experience covering all areas of the testing lifecycle
    • Significant experience in testing modern front-end applications
    • Understanding of agile software development concepts
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to provide verbal explanations of status and technical issues with precision and accuracy
    • An interest in promoting inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow
    • Transparency, selflessness and authenticity
    • Desire and eagerness to learn
    • Passion for technology, streaming and digital media.
