    Job Description

    The Digital Distribution Specialist will support critical distribution partnerships with traditional and online video distributors. The Specialist will partner closely with Business Development and Legal teams on the multi-platform distribution strategies for NBCU’s TV portfolio and streaming products. The Specialist will also work cross-functionally with our Advertising, Marketing, Operations, Research, and Business Development teams to support products and content initiatives that reinforce the value of the NBCUniversal portfolio with our distribution partners. The successful candidate will act as a product champion communicating across key stakeholders and will be responsible for managing the requirements, launch, and performance of their projects.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with defining and providing insight on digital terms to support MVPD and vMVPD distribution renewals in collaboration with internal Business Development and Legal teams.
    • Utilize data insights, competitive analysis and market trends to assess fit, feasibility, and financial impact of product and partnership growth opportunities.
    • Gather business requirements across distributors and internal teams (e.g. Operations, Product, Marketing) to help drive product roadmaps and process improvements.
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on key distributor initiatives to ensure they perform in accordance with client expectations and align with deal commitments.
    • Occasional administrative duties including managing team tracking documents and record keeping during partner calls.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2-3 years experience (media or tech industry a plus)
    • Strong communication and project management skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Operations & Research
    • Candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive and reliable
    • Ability to interpret data to develop insights, drive decisions and back-up assumptions/recommendations
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel

    • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to successfully manage multiple projects

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    HYBRID: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
