Benefits Include: • Pension (Fully funded by the company) • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Paid Holidays • Paid Vacation/Sick • Short & Long Term Disability • Life Insurance *Employees fully vested after 5 years Responsibilities: Devote an unprecedented level of personal attention when implementing a range of effective sales strategies proven to maintain and grow long-term customer base • Must actively promote NCFB Property/Casualty and Farm Bureau Bank products as well as review existing member’s accounts and complete paperwork required to process rewrites/updates, renewals, and new business • Perform underwriting functions as set forth in the company guidelines as it relates to existing clients with the ability to interpret policy coverage and provisions • Advise and/or counsel clients concerning policy coverage; negotiate, change coverage and bind additional coverage for clients’ existing policies in conjunction with the agent on record • Schedule appointments as requested by Agent/Manager; maintain a referral and expiration date system for future new business sales opportunities • Abide by all company rules, regulations, and procedures for servicing insurance products, and underwriting standards, all of which may be subject to periodic changes by the company • Protect and preserve all proprietary information obtained and in possession including names, addresses, and ages of policyholders of the company, types of policies, amounts of insurance or premiums, expiration or renewal dates of policies, policyholder listings, and policyholder information by computer, print form, or by any other media which are company trade secrets and the sole and exclusive property of the company • Observe and comply with insurance laws and regulations of the State of North Carolina • Provide office support and member service by assisting members, clients, and potential clients when necessary due to personnel shortages and periods of above-average activity. Limited travel is required for meetings and training. Qualifications: Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required • Must obtain NC Property & Casualty insurance licenses within 3 months of hire and attend required training schools. Farm Bureau will pay for pre-licensing courses, related licensing expenses, and exams Compensation: $38,000 - $40,000 yearly
