We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and fully qualified NC-PreK Teacher to join our team.     Job Description: As a Lead NC-PreK Teacher at Mommy's Moment, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning experience for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to implement our age-appropriate curriculum, guide children through their early learning stages, and create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging curriculum for Pre-K students.

    Foster social, emotional, and academic development through interactive and age-appropriate activities.

    Provide individualized attention to children to ensure their development in language, cognitive skills, and social skills.

    Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

    Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all children.

    Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and developmental milestones.

    Ensure a safe and healthy classroom environment following all safety protocols.

    Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with early childhood education trends and standards.

    Education & Licensure

    Applicants must meet one of the following:

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field, and be eligible for—or currently pursuing—a North Carolina Birth–Kindergarten (B–K) License such as the NC Initial Provisional Lateral Entry B–K License or Preschool Add‑On License

    An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, or Early Childhood Special Education, plus enrollment in a program to pursue B–K licensure

    At least 2 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting.

    Active Qualifying Letter (Ready to work)

    Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.

    Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

    Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).

    Ability to pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements.
