AP/AR SPECIALIST

NC Solar Now is one of the largest solar installation companies in North Carolina. We install residential and commercial solar systems including battery backup and thermal systems. We strive for the highest quality installations.

We are looking for an individual that embodies great organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist the team to ensure the proper and accurate entry and coding of accounting related transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Obtains revenue and pay invoices by verifying and completing payable and receivable transactions.

DUTIES:

• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

• Ensure vendor bills are approved, coded, recorded and paid in a timely and accurate manner

• Reconcile, code and post credit card statements

• Process and maintain 1099 vendor records

• Record and track payments

• Generate sales orders and invoices from customer contracts

• Ensure our customer and vendor accounts are set up and updated correctly

• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 2-year Associate or College degree preferred

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable

• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize and take initiative

• Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills

• Basic computer skill set:

• Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Microsoft Office suite

• G-Suite

• Experience in Salesforce or another CRM preferred

• Experience in Quickbooks

• Ability to work well with others and embody the team mentality

• Flexible and able to adapt to ever-changing conditions
