Job Description
NC Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, PLLC is seeking a full-time licensed Master’s-level or Ph.D.-level psychologist to join our thriving practice. We are seeking to hire a full-time contract clinician to conduct psychological assessments at our Kinston, NC location. The hours are flexible and each clinician makes his/her own schedule. Full-time compensation is typically $70,000-$80,000, potentially more depending on experience and credentials.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
-Administers a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological tests including intelligence and cognitive tests, achievement tests, personality, and behavioral tests, mental status examinations and other structured assessment techniques
-Makes careful, complete, and accurate observations regarding patients' behavior, test-taking attitudes, cognitive and/or behavioral strategies with test items and any other matter which may affect the test results or contribute to an understanding of patients' performances
-Score tests and writes reports of findings in an accurate and timely manner
-Maintains files of current test results and/or archived results and protects the confidentiality of all records
-Stores, monitors usage and requests orders of test materials, answer sheets, equipment, and assessment software so that these materials are kept in sufficient supply and assists in tracking and management of other therapeutic supplies as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Master’s degree or doctorate degree in psychology from accredited university or college
-Fully licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) or Licensed Psychologist
-Individuals with experience in administering and scoring a variety of assessments, including intelligence tests, achievement tests, personality and behavioral tests are preferred
