Job Title: Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider

Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider to join our vibrant team. As a Budtender, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products that best suit their needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to create a welcoming and educational experience for customers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate customers on available cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods, ensuring they are informed and aware of potential effects and risks.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences, desired effects, and medical needs.
- Accurately process transactions through point of sale (POS) system, including cash handling, credit card processing, and reconciling sales.
- Understand and adhere to state and local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales and consumption.
- Maintain store inventory, accurately stocking and displaying products as per the company's guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Provide accurate and timely information on product availability, pricing, and promotions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and emerging cannabis laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Higher education in cannabis studies, horticulture or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service-oriented environment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods, including medical benefits and potential risks.
- Familiarity with different cannabis forms (flower, edibles, concentrates, etc.) and their effects.
- Understanding of local and state laws and regulations governing the purchase and consumption of cannabis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and accurate information to customers of varying knowledge levels.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
