About the Role:

Rapid Run Logistics LLC is looking for a motivated and compassionate NEMT Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. In this fast-paced role, you'll be the vital link between patients and reliable non-emergency medical transportation, ensuring every ride is coordinated with care and precision. Responsibilities:

Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch NEMT drivers for patient medical transportation trips

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, healthcare facilities, and drivers via phone and digital platforms

Monitor real-time trip progress and proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts

Accurately enter and maintain trip data, client information, and driver logs in dispatch software

Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency

Communicate with medical facilities, insurance providers, and Medicaid/managed care organizations as needed

Ensure compliance with NEMT regulations, company policies, and service standards

Requirements:

Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service preferred

Familiarity with NEMT, medical transportation, or healthcare coordination is a plus

Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with dispatch software, Google Suite, or similar scheduling tools

Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate when assisting vulnerable populations

High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications a bonus
