Job Title: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver - Central California - Part-Time (Variable)

About the role This is a part-time, variable-hours position. Work hours will depend on trip demand and may vary each week. There is no guarantee of a set schedule.

Job Summary:

Are you a safe, reliable driver who enjoys helping others? Contigo is looking for NEMT Drivers to transport patients to medical appointments with care and professionalism. You’ll operate company vehicles, assist passengers (including wheelchair clients), and ensure trips run smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport members (patients) to and from medical facilities, including long-distance trips as assigned.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT, and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle checks; report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist passengers (including wheelchair-bound) in boarding/exiting the vehicle safely.
• Provide courteous, professional interaction at all times.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and ensure punctuality for all scheduled rides.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be 23 years or older and able to pass background and MVR checks.
• Previous professional driving or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to use GPS and follow routes efficiently.
• Strong communication; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed.
• Calm, problem-solving mindset in challenging situations.
