    Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare (NPBHC), offers Comprehensive Youth & Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, an opportunity for rest and relief, while engaging youth in therapeutic, age-appropriate activities. Youth, ages 5-21, can participate in group and social activities to enhance their social and emotional well-being.

    We are looking for the best talent to work in our Headquarters location as a Medicaid Billing Administrator. Of which you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic work environment, providing structured medical billing practices. Ensuring that all Behavioral Health Services are reimbursed.

    Key Requirements:

    • Billing experience in an outpatient substance abuse or mental health facility is preferred, but a doctor's office or hospital billing experience will also be considered. Front office experience would also be preferred but not required.

      Candidates should be detail-oriented and have an in-depth understanding of the following:

    • Medical billing
    • Medicaid Behavioral Heath
    • Commercial insurance billing
    • CMS 1500 forms
    • Benefits
    • Secondary billing
    • Denial resolutions
    • Deductibles and co-insurance
    • Reimbursement schedules
    • Provider remittance advice
    • Identify clients within our electronic database and determine whether our agency will have the ability to provide the services needed for the client, based on insurance eligibility.
    • Provide timely, complete, legible, and accurate documentation of billing charts and comply with all reporting requirements.
    • Make professional outgoing calls and receive incoming calls in a professional manner.
    • Always act in a professional manner, representing yourself and Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare.
    • Qualifications and Skills:

    • Associates Degree or equivalent.
    • One or more years of experience in a community/home health services agency is strongly preferred.
    • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
    • Must have outstanding organizational skills.
    • Must be willing to make professional outgoing and incoming calls.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Must consent to and pass a formal background check including fingerprinting.
    • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) applicants are welcome to apply
    • Experience:

    • Knowledge of the Social Services for the Developmentally Disabled.
    • Providing services to children and/ or youth with developmental delays: 2 years
    • Office work: 2-3 years.
    • Knowledge of Home Health Aid staffing.
    • Education:

    • High School or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience.
    • Associates degree (preferred) or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience.
