    Job Description

    Well-established medical Institute in Newport Beach invites you to join our team as a Physician Marketing Assistant. This exciting, full-time opportunity offers learning and growth within the company for a caring professional who would like to develop his/her skills and knowledge in healthcare while making a difference in patients’ lives.

    This Physician Marketing Assistant will assist the department to acquire, grow, and retain referring providers to continuously increase referrals. The Physician Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Department to increase physician/provider satisfaction while reducing barriers and concerns.

    DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:

    DIRECT PHYSICIAN MARKETING

    • Grow our referring provider base through sales calls
    • In person visits to market our institute and our medical treatment to new prospect providers
    • Research & call to qualify new leads.
    • Set up and attend meetings/presentations with new prospect providers.
    • Prepare print material by formatting content and graphics to be consistent with company brand.

    RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

    • Establish, foster and retain relationship with referring providers.
    • Visit referring providers to provide updated or new information on diagnostic and treatment technologies and research.
    • Follow up on concerns or questions providers may have regarding our institute or referred patients.

    ADMINISTRATIVE

    • Update database (ACT! Pro) by inputting data from field visits.
    • Create and assemble marketing kits and packages for new and referring providers.
    • Track and notate all marketing activity using marketing database.
    • Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends through reports.

    Direct to Patient Marketing including maintaining social media platforms and preparing advertisement and mailers.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing and/or sales role required.
    • Strong written and oral communicator/attention to detail & accuracy.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Customer Service and sales experience a plus!
    • Strong Reporting and Analytical Skills
    • Proficient computer skills with an in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent of Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience in marketing and sales

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Excellent phone and people skills
    • Professional appearance/demeanor a must.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and think on your feet.
    • Strong work ethic and a minimum of two (2) year stable work experience
    • Proven and verifiable track record of dependability.
    • Must demonstrate strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems (strong critical-thinking skills)
    • Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects within time constraints
    • Must be self-motivated and approach tasks with a positive pro-active attitude
    • Must pass a criminal background check and/or a drug screen
    • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance (mileage reimbursed).
    • Knowledge of ACT! Pro a plus
