NEXT/NOW is hiring a mid-level Motion Graphics Designer. We are looking for an on-trend visual designer, who is comfortable creating conceptual as well as finished design elements. In this position, you will work directly with the art director and creative team in creating style frames, typographic designs and finished motion graphics among other things. A flexible visual palette is required, as well as the understanding the importance of existing brand frameworks. This is an in-studio position in our West Loop, Chicago office.

Things that will put you ahead of the pack:

• Visually stunning portfolio • Experience in 3d modeling and/or animation with software such as Cinema 4D • High level After Effects mastery • Interest in gaming and sports industries • Interest in projection-mapping and large-scale displays • Passion for art and visual experiences that extend beyond a 16x9 screen.

Qualifications:

• Cinema4D, Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe software experience required • 3+ years of work experience • Strong design and user interface skills • Understanding of color and typography

• Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrate a passion for the craft • Must be deadline oriented • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and eagerness to learn
