    Position Title: Kids Club Attendant

    Reporting To: General Manager/Operations Manager and/or Kids Club Supervisor (depending on Area and Club Structure)

    Job Description:

    As a Kids Club Attendant, and it’s Kids Club Supervisor, are responsible for the supervision and activities of all assigned children in the Kid's Club area; and ensure that the child remains in designated area. Provide childcare to children including paging parent/guardian, if necessary, to assist with discipline issues and attending to personal needs (i.e., diaper changing). Participate and entertain children with games or other approved activities. Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy. Ensure parent receives copy of Kid's Club agreement and answer any questions around procedures. Report any incidents to Kid's Club Supervisor or Operations Manager. Report all member complaints to Kid's Club Supervisor, or Operations Manager. Report any child health concerns to Kid's Club Supervisor, or Operations Manager, so a Health Alert may be posted if required. Responsible for general cleaning duties in Kids Club including disinfecting toys. Ensure parent/guardian has signed Kid's Club Agreement/Information Card. Ensure individual checking in the child is listed on the Kid's Club Agreement/Information Card. Ensure parent/guardian shows valid picture ID and completes/signs the Kid's Club Register when checking in and checking out children. Ensure proper payment is received for the use of Kid's Club. Ensure all children have a numbered sticker that corresponds to the line number on the Kid's Club Register.

    Requirements:

    18 years of age

    High School Diploma/GED

    Current CPR – prior to job offer

    Special Skills - Certifications / Educational Requirements:

    6-12 months childcare experience preferred

    Patience in dealing with children and customers

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Attention to detail Energetic and Friendly

    Registered with the State Child Care registry – preferred*

    Responsibilities:

    Complete all PNW required On-boarding programs, benefiting the Kids Club Attendant position.

    Follow all Emergency Procedures established (evacuation, blood borne pathogen, hazard communication).

    Ensure safe well-being of all children in care.

    Follow all childcare legal procedures.

    Adhere to State mandatory reporter guidelines (if Team Member is part of the State Registry).

    Create fun, and age-appropriate activities.

    Provide a nurturing, and inclusive environment.

    Ability to comfort distressed children of all ages.

    Additional Kids Club Supervisor Responsiblities:

    Manage payroll budget

    Manage supply expenses and report needed items to Club Manager

    Assist in hiring of KCA’s

    Train and develop following PNWCV on-boarding protocal

    Complete all performance reviews

    Complete any additional items required by Club Management

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting children, weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting & prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45+ pounds.
