Hours : Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm

_ ** Qualifications: Bi-lingual English/Spanish**_

_ ** Minimum -Must have a clear and current Florida Dental Hygiene license**_

• _ Must have a current/active CPR certificate_

** _ Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_**

• _ Knowledge of dental terminology_
• _ Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices_
• _ Skills in using dental instruments and equipment and performingdental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning_
• _ Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques,_
• _ Ability to communicate effectively_
• _ Ability to manage time so can adequately treat patients but stilltreat the number of patients needed and in a timely manner_
• _ Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants andvolunteers in a way that promotes teamwork and the betterment of the residentsof Marion County_

_ ** Duties and Responsibilities -: Serve as a dental hygienist in the School BasedSealant program. Provide dental assessments, take pictures of inside of students mouth for teledentistry, educate students on oral hygiene provide fluoride varnish treatments and dentalsealants.**_
