About the Role:
MedPOINT Management is looking for a detail-oriented and driven NOA Coordinator II to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting healthcare operations by managing Notice of Action processes with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
Process and coordinate Notices of Action (NOAs) in compliance with regulatory and health plan requirements
Review, track, and document NOA cases to ensure timely and accurate resolution
Collaborate with internal departments including utilization management, claims, and member services
Ensure adherence to DMHC, CMS, and other applicable regulatory guidelines
Respond to member and provider inquiries related to NOA determinations
Maintain accurate records and data entry within care management systems
Identify and escalate issues or trends that may impact compliance or member care
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in managed care, healthcare administration, or a related field
Familiarity with NOA processes, utilization management, or appeals and grievances
Knowledge of DMHC, CMS, and Medi-Cal/Medicare regulatory requirements preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems
Team-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
