    Job Summary

    North 78 Pet hospital is a newly establish full service veterinary service offering but not limited to the following services to our community: Wellness Exams, Vaccines, Surgery, Diagnostic labs, emergency care/ hospitalization with-in business hours, and Digital Radiographs with interpretation, hospice care, euthanasia's, etc. We are looking for an amazing team player that is as passionate as we are about serving our community (people and pets) through our knowledge and training of veterinary medicine.     Responsibilities

    Assist veterinarians in routine medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency treatments

    Assist in laboratory tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and microbiology samples

    Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments under the guidance of the veterinary team

    Maintain accurate medical records and update patient charts

    Prepare and sanitize surgical equipment and examination rooms

    Monitor and care for hospitalized animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being

    Educate pet owners on proper animal care, medications, and post-operative instructions

    Provide support to the veterinary team in various tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 2 years experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role

    Knowledge and proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques

    Knowledge of common veterinary procedures, medications, and equipment

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and is task orientated in a busy environment

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure and in a timely manner

    Genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing the highest standard of care
