Job Description

A full service commercial AV-rated law firm that serves clients throughout Florida,looking for a Billing Specialist or Billing Clerk to join their team. This firm offers a professional and enjoyable work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to processing and preparing prebills for review. Entering prebill edits for invoice preparation.   Compiling and uploading billing supporting documentation. Preparing invoices per Firm and Client guidelines. Generating both paper and electronic bills. Mailing invoices and uploading e-bills to third-party e-billing portals. Maintaining and updating e-billing invoice templates and related information. Reviewing rejected invoices and assisting with processing appeals. Reconciling client accounts.

Experience:  A minimum of 3 years of prior billing experience. The ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines. A highly organized and detail-oriented individual. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits a high degree of integrity and maintains confidentiality.  Experience with electronic billing processes and procedures. Experience in a law firm is preferred, but not required.
