Currently we are looking to hire a full time Inside Loan Officer.

    Job Title: INSIDE LOAN OFFICER

    Summary:

    THE MORTGAGE BROTHERS, A DIVISION OF NP, INC. IS LOOKING FOR AN INSIDE LOAN OFFICER TO WORK IN OUR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL MORTGAGE OFFICE. ALL LEADS PROVIDED AND OKAY IF YOU HAVE SOME OF YOUR OWN DEAL AS WELL. IT WILL BE YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY TO EDUCATE, ADVISE, AND GUIDE POTENTIAL BORROWERS THROUGH THE LOAN APPLICATION PROCESS. REVIEW AND PROCESS LOAN APPLICATIONS, APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE LOANS WITHIN ESTABLISHED LIMITS BY PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING DUTIES.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING.

    1. Provides applicants with information regarding the loan application process.
    2. Counsels customers with respect to credit needs.
    3. Obtains complete loan application including all support documentation needed to process the loan.
    4. Pre-qualifies potential loan applicants by analyzing financial background.
    5. Analyze applicant’s financial situation and hunts for possible loan solutions.
    6. Follows up on processing the loan by obtaining additional applicant information if necessary.
    7. Maintains communications between the lender and borrower.
    8. Establishes rate with borrower verbally and in writing prior to settlement.
    9. Explain legal aspects of the loan to the borrower along with payment terms and conditions
    10. Understands and supports the corporation's policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all of the corporation's customers.
    11. Resolves any customer problems in an expeditious and tactful manner.
    12. Reviews and reports complaints received from customers and recommends corrective action to management.
    13. Advanced knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional Guidelines
    14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior sales experience required.
