About the Position

A growing, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in central Missouri is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Walk-In Clinic. This well-established, integrated healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, pediatric, and pharmacy services, with a strong commitment to delivering accessible, patient-centered care throughout the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced outpatient setting and wants to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community. The Walk-In Clinic offers same-day treatment for acute illnesses and minor injuries, providing a convenient alternative to the emergency department.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Provide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Deliver high-quality ambulatory care consistent with community standards
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
• Help improve patient access and contribute to ongoing healthcare service planning

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• Walk-in clinic hours may range from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required
