Job Description

KEY SKILLS: Excellent Communication, analytical, and computer skill, ability to manage deadlines, detail oriented and organized, knowledge of tax planning and tax strategy RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare Tax Returns with a focus on tax planning (complex returns).
• Ensure deadlines are met for tax returns, payments, and financial reporting.
• Create spreadsheet files and models for various tax projects.
• Assist with the response to tax notices and informal inquiries.
• Assist with tax audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 to 3 years' tax accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or EA.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles required.
• Knowledge of tax planning principles required.
• Knowledge of US federal and state taxation of corporations, partnerships, and LLCs required.
• Knowledge of multi-state sales & use tax reporting requirements a plus.
