    Job Description

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The NRG Clean Power Sales is part of a talented sales team that ensures our customers have an amazing experience going solar. Top performers will also have the opportunity for career advancement and a wide range of experience managing various aspects of our pipeline. You will work with customers to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer relations, inside sales, and/or the Solar Industry. Because Sales Representatives are paid commissions based on their individual performance, individual earnings will vary. The Average Annualized Compensation of Active Sales Representatives is the average annualized sales commission earned by all NRG Sales Representatives for the calendar year.

    • Must have a proven track record of selling, preferably in the residential solar industry.

    • Design and propose system real-time via web conference with customer
    • Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment goals
    • Manage inbound leads using Salesforce and Calendar schedule
    • Identify new ways to increase/improve lead qualification to help increase sales
    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Develop and maintain a strong referral network of satisfied customers that refer friends and family to NRG Clean Power
    • Understand customer needs and requirements

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous sales is a must
    • Background in solar would be a plus +++
    • Strong ability to project monthly sales numbers
    • Understanding of general construction a plus
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficiency with G-suite
    • Experience with selling virtually using tools like Zoom is a plus
    • Ability to communicate a technical process in an easy to understand way via telephone, web, and email

    This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week expected. The compensation for this position consists of hourly base pay plus a great commission structure. Regular performance bonuses and sales contest prizes will also be given to strong performers. Some weekend shifts may be available.
