    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    The People Experience Advisor (HR Generalist), under the direction of the Manager of People Experience, will enable a culture of excellence through assisting with the implementation of various People Experience related programs that align with departmental objectives and the organization’s vision, mission and values. You will be looked upon to provide great customer service to all team members, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in the dealings you have with team members.

    • Ability to travel domestically as necessary.
    • Problems or situations are different and require interpretation. Use judgment to identify the most appropriate solution from several options using prior knowledge and experience.
    • Responsibilities and objectives are assigned with considerable freedom for decision making using technical or experiential knowledge and company standards. Work may be periodically reviewed according to achievement of predefined goals.

    The Must Haves:

    • Bachelor’s degree required in HR or related field, HR certification a plus
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as HR Generalist
    • Distribution Center environment a plus
    • Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), data entry and email.
    • MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH/ENGLISH; read, write and speak proficiently.
    • This position requires a valid driver license

    THINGS YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Ensure HR policies and processes are consistently administered throughout the company.
    • Facilitate any employee relations issues.
    • Conduct full employee onboarding and helps organize training and development initiatives.
    • Provide support to employees in various HR topics such as leaves of absence, open enrollment and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Maintain employee files and records electronic and paper form.
    • Process terminations and assist with some pay-related items.
    • Organize communication to management regarding monthly performance reviews process along with tracking reviews.
    • Weekly updating of facility performance via TV monitors
    • Manage full cycle leave of absence process (FMLA/ CFRA/PDL/WC)
    • Works closely with PE Manager and Director of PE regarding payroll benefits related items including benefit deduction, collection of benefits and COVID related leave/pay.
    • Ability to multi-task and resolve issues promptly escalating any challenging scenarios to the PE Manager or Director of PE
    • Ability to think outside of the box when it comes to efficiencies.
    • Communicate and engage with our employees regularly.
    • Coordinates volunteer, social and fundraising initiatives
    • Responsible for weekly audits for wage and hour/ meal and rest and collecting any documentation related to it.
    • Translates documents from English to Spanish if needed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
