    JOB POSTING

    A DAY IN THE LIFE Under the direction of the Industrial Engineer, or their designate, performs all functions related to on-boarding and training with in-house NRI Trainers and employees on job specific Operations functions. With a focus on consistency and best practices, the Training Supervisor represents a team of Trainers in a specific region. The Training Supervisor is the main point of contact to Trainers for questions, feedback and process improvement. Their objective is to collaborate closely with Trainers and Operations on all functional areas of the organization to drive process improvement and innovation within NRI.

    The Must Haves:

    • High school diploma preferred
    • Internal: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as an NRI Trainer in all function areas of the Flexibility Matrix
    • WMS experience a plus
    • Experience preferred in continuous improvements to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety
    • Physical ability to carry out the duties, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, walking and standing for extended periods, frequent stooping and bending, climbing ladders, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
    • Experience preferred in continuous improvements to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety.
    • Experienced in LEAN and Six Sigma preferred

    THINGS YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Participant in the recruitment process of NRI Trainers
    • Provides training of the Trainer program to Trainer Students
    • Responsible for the upkeep and auditing of Flexibility matrix
    • Bridges Communication across facilities and staff for client specific needs, also with relocation requests
    • Responsible to record and update training in Aspire from completion reports obtained by NRI Trainers. Employee Training Maintenance
    • Creates, audits and supervises training initiatives of NRI Trainers
    • Responsible for the upkeep and coordination of Operational SOPs, Checklists and Client Job Aids
    • Follow NRI Safety Rules, Safety Procedures, Security Protocol and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Review results from Peakon confidential survey, departmental SWOT analysis, Action Plan committee, performance review trends to propose learning priorities and needs
    • Communicates the NRI Lean Process Improvement Committee and encourages group submission
    • Performs other duties as requested
