    Our company is currently seeking ​an Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.

    We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing beauty start-up. The ideal candidate is someone who loves numbers, is extremely organized, passionate, and is detail-oriented. This role is responsible for ensuring that all of our accounts payable and accounts receivable are accurate and up-to-date. You will be working directly with the controller and other members of purchasing and finance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using Quickbooks

    - Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness

    - Process payments to vendors and monitor payment schedules

    - Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy

    - Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

    - Converting Sales orders into invoices, updating orders, and other book keeping AP/AR tasks

    - Manage and maintain organized records of all financial transactions

    - Work with different departments within the company to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections

    - Keep up to date with accounting standards and continue to develop and improve accounting processes

    Qualifications:

    - Associates degree in business, accounting, finance, information management, or a related field

    - 2+ years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable role

    - Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices

    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    - Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel

    Additional Qualifications (preferred):

    - Reconciliation experience, AR/AP in manufacturing or retail

    - Experience with online payment processing systems
