The beauty and fashion industry is a constantly fluid business and our brands are currently on rocket ship-like growth which requires our team to be quick thinking, hard-working, and results-driven. This job will be one of the best jobs in the world for someone naturally, creative, hard-working, and with a type-A work ethic. We are a growing professional beauty company that is looking for a positive, hard-working, and diligent new addition to our growing team to assist with the tasks and needs of the Founder and CEO of multiple brands in beauty. with front office needs as an executive assistant working directly with the president on projects and initiatives with our Nashville TN office staff. Some travel is required. As the founder EA, you will be responsible for basically any task within the reason the founder needs to continue to grow the brands. The founder is super creative, quick action has ADHD and is super hard working on his vision for brands. The assistant must be able to be the right-hand person for a variety of things from the typical EA tasks like making sure flights, hotels, shipments, meeting calendar management, message management, writing, and helping the hiring of new hires under the direction of the Founder and controller of the business. This position has many opportunities to gain experience and roles in the company in a variety of roles later. Our brands (Zenagen is one of them) are in many salons and retailers in the US and 9+ countries and we operate like a startup despite being a middle market sized brand now. The founder is a chemist and oversees product development so being able to take notes, and get things done under the direction of the founder is key. We work hard and play hard. Trade shows and Music festivals are a part of the brand strategy and thus the EA position will be required to attend about 5-8 events that range from trade shows to Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits Music Festivals among others. This job requires discretion as many of our events are backstage and around artists and talent and those being respectful and on brand is required. This EA position will be a direct connection between the Founder and the different departments of his company including warehouse, operations, finance, marketing, manufacturing, legal, event planning etc..... Our key market includes the US and have over 25,000 salons currently carrying our product lines. We have brands that are distributed by some of the top beauty distributors in the US. Knowledge of the beauty industry is a bonus but not needed. A positive and hard-working attitude is the most important. Our All-Star type EA candidate is a positive person who is task-oriented and follows directions well. The ideal candidate has experience in an office role, customer service, receptionist, or sales support, and is comfortable with answering phones, order entry, and online support management. The ability to follow directions and develop processes and procedures to keep travel organized, events scheduled, and other office needs are important. Social media experience and interest in marketing are a plus as well. Some travel may be required but generally well planned and less than 6-9 events a year (10-15% Travel) Candidates will be trained on company products, procedures, and processes. Type A approach is ideal and customers and will be responsible for answering customer calls, taking orders from sales reps, and inputting data into our CRM/Sales order database, as well as help coordinate various inside sales communication tasks. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills.
