    Job Description

    A DAY IN THE LIFE  

    We are seeking a talented and energetic Marketing Content Specialist (Copywriter/Social Media) to support the Marketing Manager with managing integrated marketing projects, campaign development, and production. This individual plays a central role in the success of NRI – helping to grow our brand’s strength and awareness through developing and sharing our story. Through consistent and creative efforts, you will help to capture the attention of prospective clients, and talent, to join us on our journey. 

    This position works to promote NRI’s brand message and values through copywriting and social media marketing. This role may also interact directly with agencies, clients, and vendors as needed. 

    The ideal candidate can easily adapt and be resourceful within a changing and fast-paced environment to support the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns – helping to grow NRI’s business. 

     

    ALL ABOUT YOU 

    What You’ll Bring to the Role: 

    • You’re an individual who can identify a great story and tell it via multiple digital and traditional mediums 
    • Excellent writing and editing skills across digital platforms with top-notch presentation and speaking skills 
    • Self-motivator with strong intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator 
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently while managing multiple deliverables all the while being flexible to adapt to changing priorities 
    • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently a plus  
    • Working knowledge of Asana, WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Dropbox and Vimeo are a plus

     

    The Must Haves: 

    • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or English preferred 
    • 3+ years of social, digital marketing, or copywriting experience in an agency or corporate environment 
    • A strong portfolio of writing samples 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

     

     

    THINGS YOU WILL BE DOING 

    COPYWRITING FOCUS 

    • You’ll work with a cross-functional team to execute strategic, omnichannel marketing, brand awareness, and communication campaigns that inform, influence, and engage demographically and geographically diverse audiences. 
    • You’ll identify new story opportunities; source, write, draft, edit and lead the creation of promotional and collateral materials, communications, case studies, and business proposals. 
    • Write and edit copy for newsletters, press releases, presentations, articles, video scripts and relationship-building programs. 
    • Performs quality assurance, including proofing copy and content, checking for brand consistency. 
    • You’ll assist in the planning and execution of internal and external marketing events (e.g., webinars, speaking panels, photo/video shoots, etc.). 
    • Other activities as required.

     

    _SOCIAL MEDIA FOCUS _

    • Own and manage social media calendar by planning, posting, and promoting social media platforms. 
    • Research and share content from other sources, comment on and moderate posts.  
    • Scheduling social media posts on third-party software (Later, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram). 
    • Assist the Sales & Marketing team in using analytics to identify engaged demographics and audiences.  
    • Build reports highlighting the specific impact of marketing efforts. Analyze data, summarize insights, and share recommendations.
