    JOB TITLE:                  SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE-PART-TIME (WORK-FROM-HOME)

    DEPARTMENT:             SALES SUPPORT

    REPORTS TO:             MANAGER SALES SUPPORT

    FLSA:                        NON EXEMPT

    HOURS:                       8:00AM-12NN

    PAY RATE:                  $16.00/HR TO $18.00/HR

     

    SUMMARY

    This is a remote role under the direction of the Manager Sales Support, will be responsible for the following key job functions for customer service including entering product orders and handling customer issues.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Customer Service and Order Entry duties will include but are not limited to

    entering orders

    ·         Check orders for accuracy of information including pricing and inventory

    ·         Work with customers via phone and email in a professional manner

    ·         Update and organize documents and reports as required

    ·         Work with logistics personnel on shipments and deliveries

    ·         Other duties as assigned

    ·         Know how to collect and identify essential information

    ·         Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with others

    ·         Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as filing and records maintenance, experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.  Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint experience is a plus

    ·         Working knowledge of Salesforce.com

    ·         Must be able to handle customer situations professionally and work accurately under deadlines and critical timelines

    ·         Must be available for onsite training

    ·         Must be able to attend meetings onsite if needed

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    ·         Must have a high school diploma or greater, minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in foodservice industry preferred

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    • Ability to read, write and communicate in English with strong verbal communication skills

     

    MATHEMATICAL/FINANCIAL SKILLS:

    • Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to understand basics of cost accounting, freight and transportation elements

     

    REASONING ABILITY:

    • Ability to apply disciplined judgment and knowledge to analyze and resolve problems
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

    • The office environment is typically climate controlled of 68ºF to 72ºF and clean, with normal air contaminants, such as dust, typically found in an office environment
    • The indoor production environment is climate-controlled of -40ºF to 45ºF with regular exposure to prolonged noise

    While in the production area, all employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include hair and beard nets, rubber soled shoes, smocks, and hearing protection and hard hats.
