Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN

We are looking for motivated and Registered Nurses to join our team.

Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN

Shift: Days

Duties:

• Work directly with immediate postanesthesia patients. 
• Monitor airway, cardiac rhythm, neurologic and hemodynamic status and assessment of pain. 
• Recognize signs and symptoms of malignant hyperthermia. 
• Efficiently and effectively responds to any emergency in the post anesthesia phase of the adult or pediatric patient. 
• Work with an interdisciplinary medical team. 
• Document and keep the team informed of the patient's progress. 
• Educate the patient and family on post-surgery care

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year PACU experience required
• Must hold an active state RN license
• Electronic Charting experience
• Must have an active BLS, ACLS and other needed certifications
