Title: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab

Facility: Acute Care (Hospital)

Shifts: 36 hour days

Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

• Handle paperwork, like consent forms, and filing documents with patient records
• Prepare for operations, which might require sterilization of the space and shaving the patient at the catheter insertion site
• Monitor patient vitals and sedation during and after operations to make sure patients don't have unexpected reactions
• Share discharge paperwork and care instructions with patients or their families
• Revise patient charts to add information about their operation

Qualifications:

• One year RN acute care experience required
• Active Applicable State Licensure
• American Heart Association issued BLS and ACLS
