    TITLE: Registered Nurse 

    SPECIALTY: Neonatal Intensive Care

    FACILITY: Acute Care (Hospital)

    SHIFTS: 36 hour nights

    RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Provide quality nursing care to NICU patients
    • Report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
    • Demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care of the neonatal patient
    • Perform neonatal assessment of NICU patients and newborn nursery patients
    • Take care of the preemie
    • Provide intensive care management throughout the treatment episode at the levels of care designated by the use of approved medical necessity criteria
    • Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and supplies in the NICU, stabilization area, and neonatal transport unit

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • One year RN acute care experience required
    • Active Applicable State Licensure
    • American Heart Association issued BLS and ACLS
