JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Analyze samples of blood, tissue and body fluids to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels or blood type
• Preparing the samples for examination using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation
• Performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously
• Interpreting the results accurately
• Works with infectious specimens

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires 1-year minimum experience as either an MLT or MLS
• Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• Must be ASCP certified
• Must have travel experience, experience in a small to medium size hospital preferred
• Phlebotomy competency required
• EPIC experience required
