TITLE: Registered Nurse 

SPECIALTY: Pediatrics

FACILITY: Acute Care (Hospital)

SHIFTS: 36/40 hour days/nights

RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Work with children and ask questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor
• Assess a child's needs and provide initial care
• Identify changes in children's symptoms and intervene in emergency situations
• Participate in pain management for children
• Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keeping accurate records
• Deal with the anxieties and demands of parents, and help families to deal with their child's illness or injury

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year RN acute care experience required
• Active Applicable State Licensure
• American Heart Association issued BLS and ACLS
