About the Role:

Join Central Adult Day Healthcare Services as a Nurse Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients in Richmond, VA. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Participate in client care planning and documentation.

Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.

Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred.

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.

Ability to lift and move clients as needed; physical stamina required.

Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures.

Current CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
